Picture this: Katlego "Castino the Hero" (27) Semaye and Kanelo "Thwenny" Motaung (28), two musical maestros who fell head over heels for the world of music at the tender age of 15 in 2010. Fast forward to 2014, a chance encounter sparked the magic that would become Stino le Thwenny.

When Thwenny first heard Castino, he felt the vibe of a rapper who could stand shoulder to shoulder with the best. Their musical rendezvous began with "Back Into It" in 2014, followed by the game-changer "Pour Me," which set the stage for their dynamic partnership.

In 2016, responding to the clamor of their fans, they officially became a duo, unleashing the mixtape "Stino le Thwenny Ba Kae." But it was the 2018 EP "What You Say?" that propelled them into the national spotlight, catching the attention of A&R vigilantes at Universal Music South Africa during the "tryouts" at Pop Bottles.
