Keyaran Pillay (born September 24, 1996), better known by his stage name Keyz(KEYZII). Keyz grew up in the Overport (Central) streets of Durban. 

KEYZII is a multi-gifted; Music Artist, Singer, Event Organizer, Actor, Public Figure, Marketer,  Live Music Performance, Motivational Speaker & Presenter.

KEYZII engaged in music as a hobby and was usually known around town for events or functions that he hosted.  KEYZII brought presence and attention to his name when that became the center of attention. " Smooth Tongue " as they call him, because of the ability to influence and convince any person, company, or organization.

KEYZII has a unique style of convincing a mixture that blends books and street knowledge. His music ability to rap on any hip hop or trap beat creates elements that bring an infectious sound that is hard to ignore. When in the studio, performing live or freestyling to a beat, KEYZII always drops bars that delight the ears and eyes of those present. 

He parted ways with everyone (friends and he resigned as a Service Manager from the business company Magnum ), broke, financially unstable, and uncertain about his music career. Keyaran Pillay rebranded himself to become KEYZII and is known as KEYZII for what he does. and has since partnered with an artist and friend of his who goes by the name Nova.

Musically he offers the best of both worlds. He draws inspiration from the life experiences of both himself and others. KEYZII likes to put himself in another man's shoes to give a different perspective. His mentality is powered by the success of other individuals in the industry which drives him to work harder.

His core belief in music is that it is the language of all human beings and has the power to not only change the lives of many individuals positively but can also serve as a mental guideline to happiness in times of depression. " Ultimately my goal is to touch each individual in a way that encourages self-growth. "
